LANXESS Anhydrite Binder (calcium sulphate binder CAB 30) is a standardised binder for the production of calcium sulphate flowing screeds and calcium sulphate screeds in accordance with DIN 18560 and is suitable for the production of composite screeds, screeds on separating and insulating layers, and heated screeds in accordance with DIN 18560. The binder from LANXESS is available in bags for laying screeds on construction sites and in silos for calcium sulphate screeds and calcium sulphate flowing screeds from truck mixers, mobile mixers and silo systems.
LANXESS calcium sulphate binder CAB 30 meets the requirements of European standard EN 13454 and is subject to factory production control that exceeds the requirements of the standard; in addition, we voluntarily have our binder monitored by the Material Testing Office of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dortmund (MPA).
Screeds based on LANXESS anhydrite binders emit far fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) than required by the strict specifications of the ‘Committee for Health Assessment of Building Products’ (AgBB) and are therefore suitable for use as building products in interior spaces without restriction. In this context, the LANXESS calcium sulphate binder CAB30 has received another award – the eco-Institut label. A certificate also confirmed that the LANXESS anhydrite binder – even the stricter emission requirements – has passed for this label. The Lanxess anhydrite binder has received an EPD from the Institute for Construction and Environment (IBU), which confirms its significantly low CO2 emissions.
LANXESS recommends that the Lanxess anhydrite binder be processed exclusively with LANXESS additives. The product portfolio includes accelerators and processing aids.
