The COREPEL EVOLUTION line is expanding with the introduction of COREPEL EVOLUTION PURE. This new collection combines a real wood surface with a waterproof backing, making it significantly more robust than conventional wooden floors.
The real wood surface is made waterproof by the penetration of a high-performance resin from below, without losing the natural look and feel of a parquet floor. This technology also enables a more efficient use of wood resources: one cubic meter of oak can be used to produce up to 600 m² of COREPEL PURE flooring, which is four times more than traditional 3-layer parquet.
COREPEL PURE floors are equipped with the Uniclic joint, which ensures that even the joints between the panels do not let water through. These floors can be installed both glued and floating.
Another advantage of COREPEL EVOLUTION PURE is its responsible profile. The core is largely made of natural wood and Kauramin® BALANCE, a biomass-balanced resin from BASF, is used for the sheathing. During production, COREPEL Evolution Pure has a CO2 footprint that is at least 30% lower than that of similar floor coverings.
"PURE" expresses the naturalness of this product, while "EVOLUTION" refers to its recyclability. The new decors are stone and wood designs inspired by nature, which are almost indistinguishable from the actual materials in terms of their look and feel. COREPEL is suitable for full-surface bonding and is therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to glued vinyl.
