At DOMOTEX 2024, UZIN and Hamburg-based SN-Verlag, with its trade journals BTH Heimtex, Fussboden-Technik and Parkett Magazin, will be presenting the "BodenZukunft Award" for the first time.
The construction sector is one of the world's largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. In order to achieve the EU's climate targets, greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption in the building sector must therefore be significantly reduced. In addition to a more sustainable design of new buildings, renovations in particular offer great potential for making construction more resource-friendly and energy-efficient.
What contribution can flooring and the floor-laying trade make to this? UZIN and the Hamburg-based SN-Verlag are getting to the bottom of these questions and are presenting the "BodenZukunft Award" - the sustainability prize for the floor-laying trade - for the first time in 2024.
The competition is open to all applicants of all flooring manufacturers. The jury consists of experts from sustainability organisations and the flooring industry, as well as representatives of SN-Verlag and Uzin.
