Since its founding in 1973, Repac Montagetechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Gehrden has developed from an accessory supplier for craftsmen and specialist retailers into a system provider. In addition to baseboards, profiles, and insulation underlays, the Lower Saxony-based company's portfolio now also includes designer flooring. At DOMOTEX 2026 in Hanover, Repac will therefore be presenting two new and exciting collections that are set to enrich the world of floor coverings – with herringbone and chevron designs. These two classic patterns are currently enjoying a remarkable comeback and are no longer confined to traditional interiors. Repac's new collections combine stylish aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology and are intended to be an outstanding option for both private and commercial spaces.
The herringbone pattern with its characteristic V-shape creates a dynamic look and makes rooms appear lively and elegant at the same time. The chevron designs are characterized by their symmetrical, angular patterns, which visually expand the room and create a harmonious effect. Both designs have their origins in traditional craftsmanship and are now state-of-the-art thanks to innovative materials and advanced installation techniques.
The new collections from Repac focus on high-quality materials that are not only aesthetically appealing, but also functional and durable. The types of wood and design surfaces used offer a wide selection that is suitable for both modern and classically furnished rooms. Whether for private living areas, offices, or even hotels—according to Repac, Herringbone and Chevron turn every room into a stylish experience.
A special highlight of the Repac collections is the patented installation technique. This enables quick and precise installation, which also makes life much easier for craftsmen. The technique ensures that the floors are seamlessly connected without visible joints. This not only reduces the amount of work involved, but also guarantees a durable and stable floor structure.
