The Characteristics
TERRA is developed as a sustainable production line applied across all NOX LVT products, reducing the carbon footprint of standard floorings by up to 50% without any compromise in performance. Its formulation replaces around 90% of total product composition with internationally certified carbon-reducing and recycled materials, including GRS-certified Recycled DOTP, ISCC-certified Bio-Circular Balanced PVC, and EcoVadis-verified post-industrial filler, one of the highest substitution levels in the industry. TERRA can be produced using existing equipment without process changes, enabling transition without additional emissions or adjustments.Environmental transparency is fully supported through verified EPDs using TRACI 2.1 (Cradle-to-Gate), demonstrating GWP reductions of up to 50%, nearly half of standard products. These results remain substantially lower than typical market levels and competitors, scoring at nearly half the Gensler Market Differentiator benchmark, which is widely recognized as a leading high-sustainability threshold. Supply-chain transparency is strengthened through upstream certifications ISCC, GRS, and EcoVadis, and production is carried out in NOX global facilities to secure stable, traceable, and regionally optimized supply routes. NOX operates the NOX Reclamation Program, a closed-loop system that collects, sorts, and reprocesses post-consumer flooring for reintegration into new production. Internal manufacturing scrap is also reused, minimizing waste, preventing additional emissions, and supporting long-term circularity within the TERRA formulation. TERRA floorings are ortho-phthalate-free, heavy-metal-free, feature low TVOC levels, and are manufactured in a low-emission environment. By combining carbon-reducing materials, verified environmental data, circular systems, and safe chemistry, TERRA represents NOX’s most advanced approach to sustainable production delivering environmental responsibility without any compromise in high performance.
