Quartz Core Mineral Composite Panel | Power Dekor
As the types of flooring and wall panels continue to increase, the cost of recycling discarded flooring is also increasing. Mostfloors and wall panels are not recommended for landfill or burning because they degrade/melt and release formaldehyde, a highly toxic chemical that is barely detectable. Whether laminate, hardwood or vinyl floors or tiles are recommended for recycling through a landfill or recycling centre. However, the recycling process is many, also brings more energy consumption. As we all know, all companies are trying to close the loop on flooring and wall panel products. Power Dekor Group has been also working hard on it. However, the Group also think of why not develop a new material product that does not undergo any chemical reaction and can simply complete its closed loop in addition to ensuring its performance. Thus the Quartz Core, a new mineral composite, was born.
Quartz Core Mineral composite panel is made of pure quartz, lime, portland cement, water etc. Ingredients are mixed with the material through high temperature and high-pressure reactions to form the tobermorite crystals. The process will not add glue and other formaldehyde containing substance. It relies on hydration polymerization, to produce a high-quality panel.
The product had been gone through almost all the tests on the physical and chemical performance of the floor by Intertek, and now it is being tested by EPH to get the approval of CE and TUV certificates.

Quartz Core takes its raw materials from nature and is produced without any chemical reactions. It relies on hydration reaction polymerization, the production process does not add glue and other formaldehyde containing substance. This also contributes to its low emission and low pollution characteristics. Related test reports, such as REACH, Fungi resistance test, and the upcoming TUV certification, can better prove that it is free of TVOC and formaldehyde, and is healthy to human and their natural living environment.
The fact that no plastic-related materials are used in the Quartz Core production process demonstrates the substantial contribution of Power Dekor to nature's plastic reduction. At present, countries around the world are responding to the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and jointly curb the trend of global warming. All walks of life are engaged in the cause of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality". As one of the industry leaders, Power Dekor strictly controls the carbon emissions of the entire Quartz Core production. Limit emissions to about one-tenth of those of a traditional tile factory.
Different from the manufacturing process of traditional enterprises, Quartz Core is the world's first leading inorganic mineral floor. It does not add aldehydes, such as glue, in the manufacturing process, so it can ensure that the whole production process is non-toxic. At the same time, All production processes take into account the hazards of floating particles produced during production, so the factory invested in a dust-free work environment.
