LUT EVERECO
LUT EVERECO is a PVC-free TPU flooring made with 70 percent recycled TPU sourced from discarded shoe soles. It is fully recyclable, low TVOC, Red List Free, and delivers strong durability with verified scratch recovery for sustainable long-term performance.
The Characteristics
LUT EVERECO is a PVC-free flooring tile developed to advance sustainable material use through the integration of recycled and upcycled resources. A key raw material is recycled TPU derived from discarded shoe soles, which are collected, processed, and reintegrated into the formulation. Over seventy percent of the TPU used in the product comes from these recycled materials, reflecting the concept “From Shoes to Surfaces” and reducing dependence on virgin TPU. The product is fully recyclable and designed to support circular material flows. NOX currently operates the NOX Recycling Program, which collects and takes in used flooring so that the material can be reused in new production. The LUT EVERECO, is being prepared to fully operate within this system, enabling recovered flooring materials to re-enter the manufacturing loop rather than becoming waste. LUT EVERECO is PVC-free, low TVOC, and free of ortho-phthalates, contributing to healthier indoor environments. It is also Red List Free certified, containing no ILFI Red List chemicals. Its formulation supports long-term use and easy maintenance through superior durability and resilience, including faster indentation and scratch recovery. Superior resilience is verified through EN 438 scratch-recovery testing, showing that the surface restores itself within one week after a 10N load, while comparative LVT samples remained unchanged. By incorporating recycled shoe-sole TPU, reducing environmental burden, enabling recyclability through an operational take-back program, and achieving verified scratch performance through standardized tests, LUT EVERECO clearly fits the topic of eco-friendly product development. It demonstrates how discarded materials and practical circular design can be implemented in flooring to support long-term sustainability.
