Jumpax EcoCrushion – sustainable impact sound innovation made from European raw materials Jumpax EcoCrushion is an ultra-flat flooring system that relies entirely on natural, healthy, and resource-saving materials. All essential raw materials come from Europe, and production takes place in Germany – short distances, clear responsibility, and a demonstrably low environmental impact. Materials used & origin • Wood granules (FSC) – from certified European forestry. The irregular structure creates perfect mechanical interlocking without the need for chemical binders. • Recycled paper – from European recycling streams, serves as a flexible carrier layer and elastic spring. • FSC MDF – European wood fibers, sustainably managed and optimized for high load distribution. • Natural latex – as a low-emission adhesive, free of PVC, plasticizers, and glass fibers. Type of implementation The wood granules are fixed in an even layer of recycled paper and form the acoustically effective EcoCrushion layer. The FSC MDF boards above are bonded with natural latex to create a stable, immediately ready-to-use, and extremely slim structure. The selective support and air cushions decouple the base layer from the subfloor – for 18 dB impact sound improvement with a construction height of only 8.2 mm.

The system consists exclusively of low-emission or pollutant-free materials and is produced entirely in Germany – using raw materials from Europe, short transport routes, and a high degree of transparency.

The wood granules are embedded in a layer of recycled paper to form the climate-friendly EcoCrushion layer. The FSC MDF boards are then bonded to this layer using natural latex – completely dry, without water-based processes and without additional chemicals. The structure offers 18 dB impact sound reduction at only 8.2 mm and is ready for immediate use. Installation is virtually dust-free, saving resources and avoiding construction moisture.

Jumpax EcoCrushion – sustainable materials, social responsibility, and low-carbon production Jumpax EcoCrushion combines environmental responsibility, social participation, and particularly low-energy manufacturing. Production takes place exclusively in Germany and the Netherlands, using raw materials from European supply chains. This allows us to reduce transport distances and CO₂ emissions right from the source of the raw materials. A key component is our collaboration with sheltered workshops, including Hephata in Mönchengladbach and De Bolder on Texel. Both institutions provide targeted support to people with disabilities as they enter the primary labor market. The work processes are designed to take individual abilities into account while enabling the production of high-quality products. “Human hands instead of machines” is not only a social approach, but also actively reduces the energy consumption and CO₂ footprint of our production. Materials & manufacturing processes EcoCrushion consists of FSC-certified wood granules, FSC-certified MDF, recycled paper, and a natural latex adhesive that does not require energy-intensive drying. Production is completely dry, without water, synthetic softeners, glass fibers, or PVC. The materials used are healthy for living, low in emissions, and meet high building biology requirements.

In both institutions, employees are individually supported, trained, and integrated into stable work processes.
