Extensu is a design flooring collection created for an optimal life cycle. It is a polypropylene floor, which meets the standards for office, retail, restaurants, hotels, etc., but is also an interesting alternative for conscious consumers looking for a safe and pleasant indoor environment. It achieves the equivalent performance of usage category 33/42.
With Extensu, you make a choice for a more sustainable future. Because Extensu is made of polypropylene, it is fully recyclable and free from PVC, phthalates, plasticizers, and SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern). It is even partly made with recycled materials.
It contributes to Blue Angel, BREEAM, and LEED certifications and more than meets international VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) requirements for wellbeing and a healthy indoor climate. Extensu is produced in factories certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, which means that the production has a minimal impact on the environment.
For the new collections, UNESCO World Heritage Sites served as a source of inspiration. The rich colors, patterns, and textures found in these wonderful, irreplaceable sites are translated into unique and beautiful flooring designs. Basing the Extensu designs on these heritage sites adds both beauty and environmental consciousness to any space.
There are two Natur collections featuring wood designs. The Okavan collection (inspired by the Okavango Delta) offers a friendly oak design in five appealing colors. The Serengi collection (inspired by Serengeti National Park) features a strong pine design available in a variety of five beautiful, natural colors. The Kultur collection of tiles, named Acropol (inspired by the Acropolis), showcases a pleasant stone design in four modern colors.
The Characteristics
