SOLIDOR’s adjustable pedestals and Linup aluminum support system set a new standard in sustainable wooden terrace construction. Made from 98% recycled materials and recycled aluminum profiles, this range ensures maximum stability and durability while offering an eco-friendly, long-lasting solution.
The Characteristics
At SOLIDOR, sustainability is central to the development of our systems for raised terraces and Linup system. All products are designed and manufactured in Belgium, ensuring full control over quality, traceability and environmentally responsible production. Our adjustable terrace pedestals are made with 98% recycled polypropylene from controlled local recycling streams to limit transport and CO₂ emissions. The material remains fully recyclable, supporting a closed material loop. Terraces built on adjustable pedestals can be dismantled without damage and reinstalled or reused, extending component lifespan and reducing waste in renovation projects. In 2024, we introduced LINUP, our modular aluminium system for wooden façades, terraces, walls and ceilings. It is also Belgian-made and produced from high-quality recycled aluminium. The innovative click & slide principle enables efficient installation, combining different board widths and joint gaps without visible screws. Certificates & Quality Assurance Our environmental impact is validated through the Enperas certificate: each SOLIDOR pedestal generates only 46 g CO₂-eq, representing 7% of the total life cycle impact. By reprocessing more than 1,200 tons of plastic waste annually, we actively contribute to waste reduction and sustainable material reuse. Relevance to the theme SOLIDOR combines local production, circular raw materials, low environmental impact and fully reusable systems. Our solutions make terraces and façades demountable, recyclable and future-proof, fully aligned with the principles of sustainability and circular construction.
