New 1 mm Underlay Delivering 22 dB, 423 kPa — Made for Hard Floors
Patented 1 mm underlay for floors delivering world-class performance: 22 dB impact sound reduction, RWS 51.7 Sone, 423 kPa compressive strength, and 65% recycled content. Designed for hard floors, providing long-lasting acoustic stability. Acoustic Silence 360 stands in a category of its own.
The Characteristics
Acoustic Silence 360 is a patented 1 mm high-performance underlay engineered for modern hard flooring systems. The product is manufactured from a refined blend of elastomeric granulates with 65% recycled content sourced from post-industrial rubber waste. This material composition ensures both environmental responsibility and long-term acoustic stability. All materials are processed in controlled European production facilities, ensuring consistent quality, low VOC emissions, and compliance with international sustainability requirements. Implementation is simple and efficient. Acoustic Silence 360 is installed as a floating underlay beneath SPC, LVT rigid core, laminate, and HPF flooring. Its extremely high compressive strength of 423 kPa protects click systems from deformation under heavy loads, while the integrated moisture barrier safeguards against humidity from concrete subfloors. Despite its thin 1 mm profile, the underlay delivers documented 22 dB impact sound reduction and an RWS value of 51.7 Sone. These acoustic properties remain stable throughout the entire lifespan of the floor, creating a uniquely durable solution compared to traditional underlays. Acoustic Silence 360 is supported by comprehensive third-party documentation. All acoustic, mechanical, and durability results are independently tested and verified by accredited laboratories. This includes full indoor emission testing to certify low VOC performance and compliance with indoor air quality standards. The product also carries a third-party-verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), ensuring transparent and credible lifecycle data for sustainable building specifications. After its useful lifespan, Acoustic Silence 360 can be reintegrated into new material cycles. Thanks to the unique technology used in its production, the material can be mechanically processed and reused again, supporting circularity and further reducing environmental impact.
