Shanghai, China. DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR – the biggest trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region for floor coverings – has opened its visitor online registration portal for the next trade fair (21-23 March 2017). Trade visitors can now register online at and secure complimentary admission tickets. Online registration provides trade visitors with various special benefits such as the opportunity to contact exhibitors before the event, to access the site and search for new product launches and innovations, as well as to plan their visit wisely. Four months before the doors open 85 percent of the display space is already booked. Around 900 companies have now registered.

David Zhong, President of VNU Exhibitions Asia, one of the organizers of the trade fair, explained: "The flooring sector in our region has experienced enormous growth and some amazing developments in recent years. The Asian-Pacific region already accounts for 40 percent of the global market for flooring products. A fast-growing number of Chinese and Asian flooring manufacturers have focused on technological improvements and innovations. Some areas of tremendous innovation ‒ products such as luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) and wood-plastic composites (WPC) ‒ were virtually Asian inventions. For international flooring professionals the market holds almost limitless possibilities."

Innovation and design will take centre stage as highlights of the event in 2017. For the second time DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR takes place parallel to cadex, the international event for networking, training and doing business in the design and architecture industry. cadex offers inspiring displays, conferences and networking events all related to flooring.

The latest and most innovative flooring products will be showcased within the InnovAction Flooring concept. During the last trade fair more than 400 new products were highlighted, firstly in the online visitor centre, secondly in special display areas around the exhibition venue. Exhibitors can therefore benefit from effective channels for brand presentations and product marketing which can be used before, during and after the trade fair. At the same time visitors have the opportunity to gain a quick overview of exhibitors’ innovations as well as meet interesting manufacturers.
