Hannover, Germany. Preparations for DOMOTEX 2028 are already gaining strong momentum. Following its successful repositioning as the Home of Flooring & Interior Finishing, around 100 international manufacturers have already secured their place during the initial registration phase. “Many companies achieved outstanding trade fair results this year and have already registered again for the next edition due to the event’s great success. It is clearly evident that the industry supports the new direction of DOMOTEX” says Annette Levy, new Project Director of DOMOTEX.

Successful Concept to Continue in 2028

From 17 to 20 January 2028, DOMOTEX will continue to drive forward its strategic development at the exhibition grounds in Hanover. At the heart of the event is a trade fair concept that no longer views flooring in isolation but increasingly places it within the broader context of modern interior spaces, adjacent trades, and new material worlds.

In 2028 DOMOTEX will once again strengthen the connection between flooring, walls, ceilings, and interior finishing, while consistently expanding its portfolio around holistic space concepts and further evolving its format in line with current market and design trends.

Portfolio Expanded with New Segments

In addition to its traditional flooring focus, DOMOTEX 2028 will place greater emphasis on further areas of modern interior construction and finishing. These include, among others, cast flooring and screed solutions, expanding the portfolio with relevant applications for commercial, contract, and interior fit-out projects. Wall design will also play an increasingly important role. Paints, wallpapers, and acoustic elements will be more strongly integrated into the exhibition concept, complementing the portfolio with both aesthetic and functional solutions for contemporary spaces.

DOMOTEX 2028 is already sending a clear signal: the event continues to evolve — internationally, across trades and disciplines, and with a clear focus on the future of interior finishing.

Cooperation with FEP to Be Further Expanded

The successful partnership established in 2026 with the European parquet industry federation (FEP) will be continued and further strengthened. The European parquet industry will once again be given a prominent platform at DOMOTEX, showcasing its products and innovations alongside other leading international manufacturers.
