What exactly is ReParkett?

As the name suggests, it is about reusing valuable old parquet flooring. Countless stories have unfolded on old parquet flooring from the Wilhelminian era. Numerous generations have played, danced, and lived on it. And that's not the only reason why it's such a shame to simply throw away such a valuable treasure.

Urban Mining

The neologism “urban mining” originally referred to the recovery of building materials from excavations in urban areas. But Weitzer Parkett has, by its own admission, given the term a new meaning. Old parquet flooring is so valuable that it is worth saving it from disposal and – once reconditioned – returning it to the value cycle. In short: the parquet is collected, carefully recycled, and delivered again. After the old parquet strips have been recycled, the customer receives a look that is as unique as its 200-year-old past. Weitzer Parkett, the core brand of the Weitzer Group, is Austria's market leader in the manufacture and sale of parquet flooring and wooden stairs.
