Stäubli is a global provider of industrial and mechatronic solutions with four divisions: Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics and Textile. Originally founded in 1892 as a small workshop in Horgen in the canton of Zurich, Stäubli is now an international group with its headquarters in Pfäffikon. With its textile division, the Swiss company is also a regular exhibitor at DOMOTEX in Hanover, including this coming January. There, Stäubli will be presenting industry representatives from all over the world with, among other things, the latest developments within its high-quality double carpet double rapier weaving machines from the ALPHA series.

Thanks to the solutions developed and produced under the Schönherr brand, Stäubli has established itself as a supplier of the most flexible carpet weaving machines in the world. The latest addition to the range, the ALPHA 580 UNIVERSAL carpet weaving machine, was designed especially for carpet manufacturers who want to weave a variety of carpets of different quality and size - and with a weaving width of up to 5.3 metres - with just one machine. Stäubli sees it as the answer to the requirements of the current market. These include fast design changes and sophisticated weaving structures as well as convenient yarn handling, compactness and high operational reliability combined with a long service life. The exceptional adaptability and productivity of the overall system should therefore make a positive impression on all carpet weavers looking for an efficient production solution.
