With Projection#1, the long-established Hamelin-based company DAS TEPPICHWERK, now a Vorwerk subsidiary, has launched a new collection that aims to set new standards for high-quality and creative floor design in the commercial sector. Whether for offices, hotels, law firms, shops, or restaurants, according to the manufacturer, the collection offers retailers, architects, and planners a wide range of options for modern, individual room concepts that are not only aesthetically appealing but also score highly in terms of functionality across the board.
DAS TEPPICHWERK notes that a key advantage for construction projects with tight schedules is that the Projection#1 products – a total of 152 carpets and 51 acoustic tiles – are available from stock. This means that short-term furnishing projects can be reliably implemented without compromising on design or quality.
The new collection comprises twelve high-quality tufted carpets with a suitability rating of 33 and a high fire resistance class, making them robust, durable, and ideal for use in high-traffic areas. The floor coverings are available as broadloom (400 centimeters wide), carpet tiles in standard format (50 x 50 centimeters) or free-form tiles in special production, as well as rugs with customized dimensions and four elegant finishing options: chain stitching, premium edging, piping, or deluxe edging.
In addition, the carpet tiles in this collection feature the clever SL Sonic acoustic backing, which is designed to ensure optimal room acoustics. The special backing construction, made predominantly from recycled material, significantly reduces impact sound and reverberation time – a real added value for offices and public spaces.
The collection from this long-established Hamelin-based company is rounded off by the CLEANNESSE clean-off mat. This non-slip carpet, which is particularly suitable for entrance areas, can be laid and removed quickly and easily using the ecofix Velcro installation system. This enables adhesive-free and dirt-free installation and removal without trip hazards, complex assembly, or additional transition rails.
Like all products from the Vorwerk brand, the Projection#1 collection is manufactured at the Hamelin site – in a climate-friendly manner using green electricity from hydropower. According to the supplier, sustainability is a tradition: the company has been committed to environmentally friendly processes and the use of recycled materials since the 1990s. Nine of the 12 qualities use recycled ECONYL yarn, which is obtained from old fishing nets and other recycled materials. All carpets and tiles in the collection are also low-emission, health-conscious, and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers.
