The family-run Condor Group from Hasselt in the Netherlands is now one of the largest and most diversified suppliers of textile floor coverings in Europe. Since its foundation in 1992, the company has expanded continuously — with a focus on quality, sustainability, and a broad market offering.

The group currently comprises ten specialized companies—including well-known names such as Condor Carpets, VEBE, Condor Grass, Timzo, Edel Carpets, and Intercarpet—and thus covers an enormous range: classic carpets, needle felt, carpet tiles, artificial turf, automotive textiles, and special coverings for commercial or industrial areas. This enables the Condor Group to supply both simple floor coverings for price-conscious customers and sophisticated, durable, high-quality textiles for design or commercial projects. Annual production of floor coverings currently exceeds 200 million square meters.

The Condor Group took an important step into the future with the acquisition of Betap at the turn of 2023/2024. This strengthens the Group's market presence, expands its portfolio, and allows it to draw on Betap's expertise and experience, particularly in the field of carpeting and textile flooring solutions. Betap has been retained as a brand and continues to operate within the group with its own collection, which brings both stability and flexibility.

Another recent change concerns the integration of the German brand FINDEISEN – with the product brand FINETT – into the Condor structure. By taking over the sales activities, the Condor Group aims to expand its portfolio to include needlefelt floor coverings and better serve existing market segments in Germany and Europe – with synergies in sales, service, and product development.

In addition, the Condor Group is officially committed to sustainability: its management system is certified according to ISO 14001:2015, which signals environmental management, clear standards in production and the supply chain, and sustainable business practices.
