Low Emission Zone
Hanover is not only an environmentally conscious trade fair city, but since 1 January 2008 has also been a city with an environmental zone, through which a reduced fine dust pollution is to be achieved.
The low emission zone covers large areas of the city around the city centre within the expressway ring and is indicated by road signs. Only vehicles that are marked with a fine dust sticker or meet the exceptional criteria may enter the zone.

Taxi stands are located at the entrance NORD 2.
The journey time between the exhibition grounds and the airport is approx. 30 minutes, depending on the volume of traffic.
