Arrival Tips & Advice
Entry of trade fair participants from abroad is generally possible.
The German government has decided that trade fair participants (exhibitors and visitors) can generally enter Germany, even if they come from a country that does not belong to the EU/Schengen area or the group of countries on the German "positive list". The latest information on entry requirements for participants to trade fairs in Germany can be found on the AUMA-website (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry).
Please note:
Starting in 2024, citizens from more than 60 visa-exempt countries will have to apply for travel authorization in the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) before traveling to any of the 30 European countries. Travelers who do not have a valid travel authorization will not be allowed to board their flight, bus, ferry or ship.
