Our ATMYSPHERE keynote theme symbolizes the positive, life-enhancing aspects of good flooring, which are grouped under six headings: Acoustics, Floor & More, Green Living, Outdoor, Sustainable Flooring, and Wellbeing. These aspects are taking on real, physical form thanks to the creative magic of the renowned architecture and design firm Schmidhuber (Munich), which specializes in three-dimensional walk-through installations. Schmidhuber, in partnership with selected pioneers of interior design, is creating "Contract Frames"– four interconnected pavilions where visitors can engage with the ATMYSPHERE keynote theme as they stroll through on their own personal journeys of discovery.

Sustainable – Hotel Space

The new Contract Frames display is part of the FRAMING TRENDS showcase in Hall 8. The Acoustics aspect is explored in all four pavilions. For example, the "Sustainable – Hotel Space" pavilion, in addition to its sustainability brief, highlights the positive acoustic effect of all aspects of interior design, including materials, furniture and acoustic panels. The pavilion’s flooring elements are provided by members of Germany’s cork industry association DKV and the textile elements used are from the FiLAFiL! label operated by Teresa Urbano (Vienna).

Green Living – Lifestyle Space

The "Green Living – Lifestyle Space" pavilion emphasizes the health-promoting and eco-friendly aspects of the ATMYSPHERE keynote theme. windmöller, a company which has been shaping the future for many generations and whose flooring concepts, materials and technologies are the go-to solutions for private customers, companies and markets throughout the world, will be decking out the floors of this pavilion with products from its WINEO brand. The walls will be adorned with wallpapers by WALLSTOXX, and the pavilion’s atmosphere of peace and calm will be facilitated by acoustic room dividers by HEY-SIGN GmbH. The carpet in the "Green Living - Lifestyle Space" is from Tisca.

Floor & More – Conference Space

The third pavilion, "Floor & More – Conference Space", will feature ingenious solutions for all aspects of room acoustics, from flooring to upholstered seating and soft furnishings. The pavilion’s textile floor coverings and other elements of fit-out will be provided by such companies as the Balta Group, while BoardManufaktur KG will be adding visual highlights which, to use its own words, are the "coolest design whiteboards on Earth".

Wellbeing – Yoga Space

The fourth pavilion, titled "Wellbeing – Yoga Space", is dedicated to wellness-promoting indoor environments and aspects of interior design that support healthy relaxation techniques including, of course, yoga. The floor is naturally a key focus of this pavilion, so the flooring has been entrusted to the CLASSEN Group, a first-rate provider of natural wood products. The design of the pavilion's ceiling is in the capable hands of e.m.p., who, as experts in textile elements, are the providers of choice when it comes to realizing sumptuous forms in fabric. The wallpapers for the wall design come from the company Rasch.

Outdoor

The "Outdoor" aspect of the lead theme is embodied by a patio which interconnects the four Contract Frames pavilions, highlighting the benefits of typical outdoor flooring systems and providing a fluid indoor-outdoor transition. The patio combines timber decking products by Belgian firm DENDERWOOD with synthetic grass lawns by Lano Carpets, also of Belgium. Also among the supporters is the company B-Fix for the fitting for the decking.
