Rug series ORIGIN | Brink & Campman
Brink & Campman's series ORIGIN is a collection rugs with a not only a natural look but also made with modest materials with a low footprint. This series is produced in Europe. The rugs are woven on an Axminster loom in our own factory in the Netherlands.
The felted pile yarns exist of twisted undyed colours wool. So the colours come directly from the sheep. The yarns are spun in Europe, felted in the Netherlands. The ground of the weave is made from a soy jute warp with an organic cotton weft.
Die Eigenschaften
This series is eco-friendly because of a small carbon footprint. The production of the materials is solely in Europe. Next to this the wool is undyed, so the extra steps of dyeing and extra washing are skipped.
The high quality felted yarns in the rugs make a very durable rug quality. The rug texture with twisted piles in duotone have a timeless appeal and will be loved for generations. At the end of the lifetime of the rug the different yarns can easily be separated and be recycled into new products.
