J.I. International is a family run business involved in the preservation and promotion of traditional hand weaving techniques of skilled artisans and their art in the form of high end hand knotted carpets and rugs. We work with over 1000 artisans across 100 villages to take their work to the global market. Our family has has been in the business of carpet weaving for centuries with our ancestors having travelled from Iran and settling in Kashmir where they taught the local people the art of weaving fine silk carpets, started initially as a form of art patronage we have gone commercial in 1960 under the brand name of Wani and we entered the global market in 1990. Wani has been established around the core values of community translated through art, taking forward generations of craftsmanship, trust, quality and perfection.
J.I. International presently has three manufacturing centers along with a central warehouse located in New Delhi, India.
