The DUO-THERM dryerThe DUO-THERM dryer has been developed on the base of many years of experience with drying technology. It is the perfect solution for all thermal treatment processes requiring a differentiation between upper and lower air temperature. It is therefore mainly used in textile and carpet coating lines.The DUO-THERM dryer is characterized by the following main advantages:- Maximum drying capacity- Perfect temperature accuracy- Low energy consumption- Simple maintenanceThe air circulation in the DUO-THERM dryerThe benefits- Separate air circuits, continuously controllable via frequency inverters- Separate heating of the upper and lower dryer sections- Adjustable temperature difference of more than 60 °C- Inversed thermo zones, 3 meter each- Exhaust air connections, adjustable in each zone separately for the upper and the lower sectionThe heating system in the DUO-THERM dryerThe direct gas heating system ensures due to the Venturi nozzles an optimum temperature distribution. Temperature control is made by sections, above and below separately. The following types of heating systems are available:- Direct gas heating for liquid or natural gas with a control range of 1:30- Steam heating available for any usual operating pressure- Thermal oil heating- Electrical heating- Combined heating systems
