Power-Heat-Set and Resch Maschinenbau are continuously working on new developments to improve the heat setting performance of the existing technology, which in 2009 resulted in the presentation of the GVA 5009 eco in the market and in 2011 the presentation of a complete new heat setting machine, the HiPerSet.

In 2014 we enlarged our machine portfolio, offering the GVA and the HiPerSet as modular machine types to meet our customer demands.

The GVA offers best flexibility and high performance for heat setting carpet yarn with up to 96 ends. Due to its 6 channel configuration heat setting of small lots on different belts, even different colors of the same yarn or straight set and frieze at the same time are possible.

GVA 4.0+ - up to 84 ends, chamber length 4 meters, capacity of 8 tons daily production
GVA 5.0+ - up to 96 ends, chamber length 5 meters, capacity of 12 tons daily production
GVA 8.0+ - up to 96 ends, chamber length 8 meters, capacity of 17 tons daily production

The HiPerSet is using only one channel to heat set the yarn with overheated steam. Up to 72 ends can be processed at the same time.

The new design of the climate chamber allows the yarn to be heat set quickly and thoroughly and the improved airflow in the heat setting chamber allows shorter dwell times. Operation with an adjustable permanent counterbelt allow to control shrinkage and bulk of the yarn to a certain degree. Distortions of high twist yarn will be minimized.

HiPerSet 2.5+ - up to 60 ends, chamber length 2,5meters, capacity of 6 tons daily
HiPerSet 4.0+ - up to 72 ends, chamber length 4 meters, capacity of 8 tons daily
HiPerSet 8.0+ - up to 84 ends, chamber length 8 meters, capacity of 12 tons daily

Both systems, the GVA and the HiPerSet are heat setting with overheated steam under atmospheric pressure.
