Hestra was Q Tile's very first product. Its ever-popular pattern was first developed in the 1980s. It has a wide range of applications; on balconies, in gardens, around the swimming pool, in basement rooms or in the garage. And it is as suitable outdoors as it is indoors. It is also self-draining, thus allowing damp sub-floors to ventilate. Hestra has an excellent expansion capability, i.e. it stays in shape, even in the warmest temperatures. Hestra comes with a range of edge and corner trims for a stylish finish and is available in all the colours of the rainbow.
These tiles are very easy to install. It is important that you install them on a level surface and leave a 15 mm gap adjacent to fixed walls. This is because plastic is a living material that needs room to expand.
For garages we recommend that the outer row of tiles is bolted down.
This flooring is easy to keep clean. For best results, vacuum clean and hose down. To clean the underneath (twice a year), you can lift the flooring in large sheets.
