After the resounding commercial success of the Brushed (2008) and Wave (2010) textures as well as the new PreOil floors (2013), we are still pushing the boundaries of innovation with an exclusive new texture that is created with a manufacturing process that is proprietary to Preverco. Hardwood floors of yesteryear inspired us to develop the EDGE texture: a texture that combines the rustic charm of old floors and the modern and sleek look of today's decor.
The EDGE texture features the look of a well worn floor, with years of life built in to it, combined with the reliability of a modern flooring product. Randomized saw and distressed marks on most floorboards are combined with various irregularities to create a natural and authentic effect. This new incomparable product is in line with the "Rustic-chic" trend very popular in North America. The EDGE name and the selected color names evoke the most popular high-end ski resorts in the world: Names that make you dream.
The EDGE Texture is launched in two species: Hard Maple and Red Oak,. It is built on our 127 mm (5") wide «Variation with Knots» SolidClassic platform. It is finished with a matte finish (10 degrees) and is available in 7 colors:
