Weaving mill Van Den Broucke N.V. was founded in 1951 by Leonce Van Den Broucke. In the first years the mill produced upholstery velvets mainly for export to Belgium and Germany. Over the years the export expertise grew, U.K and United States, and in the mid-80's the entire activity was switched by Norbert Van Den Broucke to weaving of artificial silk rugs and bathmats. In those days production consisted mainly of viscose (artificial silk) and cotton based bathmats.
Now, Els and Thijs Van Den Broucke are contstantly creating new designs, colorbanks qualities to meet the demanding market.
Thanks to the investments in looms equiped with electronic jacquard machines and a CAD/CAM system, we've created a variety of possibilities. A staff of thirty co-workers assures the quality standard.
