Bjelin designs, develops, manufactures and sells a wide product portfolio of traditional wooden floors as well as new innovative floors in new materials.
The development is performed in cooperation with the sister company Välinge Innovation AB, mostly known as the inventor of the click floors.
Bjelin, which today has about 600 employees, with production facilities in Viken (Sweden) as well as in Bjelovar and Ogulin (Northern Croatia), are extending production capacity in Viken during 2018 to meet the demands for, mainly, broader planks of cured wood.
The raw material of oak and ash comes from the world-famous forests of Slavonia, Croatia. The founders of Bjelin invented the click floor in 1993 and developed the worlds first laminate flooring during employment at Perstorp.
