Keynote theme & Framing Trends

From 2018 on, DOMOTEX will be staged under an annually changing keynote theme which encapsulates the latest trends and highlights the creative power of the flooring industry.

UNIQUE YOUNIVERSE – the keynote theme for 2018

A megatrend that is sweeping multiple industries at the moment is individualization – the quintessentially human quest for individuality amid an increasingly globalized and standardized world. People want products and services that are tailored to their needs and lifestyles and which reflect their own unique personalities. UNIQUE YOUNIVERSE captures this trend and further positions DOMOTEX as a driver of innovation.

Life is all about being unique

Focus on Lifestyle

The UNIQUE YOUNIVERSE lead theme is expressed in concentrated form in Hall 9. Supporting the Framing Trends display in its coverage of the keynote theme will be the DOMOTEX-Talks in Hall 9. The speaker lineup includes renowned architects, such as Jürgen Mayer H., J.MAYER.H und Partner, Architekten MBB, Berlin, Andreas Krawczyk, NKBAK, Frankfurt, and Chris Middleton, KINZO, Berlin, as well as designer Werner Aisslinger, Studio Aisslinger, Berlin. The founders of a number of exciting new startups, and young interior design and architecture students will also be taking the stage. There will also be daily Guided Tours of the show, led by big-name architects and designers.
