Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies are gaining in importance in business, industry, the skilled trades and education.

"Virtual reality was once the dream of science fiction. But the internet was also once a dream, and so were computers and smartphones. The future is coming."

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Post, 2014

Perfect setting for showcasing the latest trends

UNIQUE YOUNIVERSE: Among other things, DOMOTEX's new keynote theme stands for innovative new technologies that provide ever more unique and personalized customer experiences. In 2018, the show will give future-defining technologies even greater prominence with a comprehensive line-up of displays, showcases and discussions.

Virtual reality (VR) is one of these technologies. VR is already in widespread use as a planning tool for architects, but it also offers the floor coverings industry an opportunity to bring its products to life by showcasing them in engaging use scenarios to potential buyers. That’s why VR will be a key focus theme in the "Framing Trends" display in Hall 9. There, visitors can expect to find a variety of highly creative, inspiring product showcases that illustrate the latest trends, innovations and cross-industry synergies.

Discover the vast potential of virtual reality!

In the lead-up to the next DOMOTEX, we will be running the "Hackvention Event Series", a new event format designed to help our exhibitors learn more about virtual reality solutions and their commercial potential.

We will be addressing all the key issues, such as relevance, ease of use, development potential and possible applications. We will also work with you to develop concepts and prototypes for individualized products. Take part and tap into the cross-industry synergies unleashed at our Hackvention Event Series.
