1,350 enterprises from 60 nations presented their latest products and collections. 40,000 visitors from over 80 nations came to discover the latest product innovations and trends for the upcoming season.
The exhibitors offers new, highquality product worlds featuring new or unusual lifestyle solutions and refreshing concepts for homes and commercial properties. DOMOTEX visitors have voted for their favourite Concept Room. The winners are Dura Flooring Systems GmbH (Germany) and Baltic Wood S.A. (Poland).

Luxury, splendour and drama are set for a big revival in 2013 and this is reflected in a new generation of carpets, rugs and floor coverings.
The materials data bank compiled by Materia (Amsterdam) will be represented for the first time at contractworld with approx. 350 new materials from different manufacturers.
The special display MEET/DESIGN offers three levels packed with images, impressions and sensations: designer furniture, vintage objects, lighting and home accessories set in imaginative installations that define modern urban living and lifestyle philosophies.
Big names include Hitoshi Abe, Dorte Mandrup, Thom Mayne and Enrique Sobejano and further top speakers. A separate keynote theme will be addressed on each of the four days of the congress.
Stefan Diez is responsible for the overall design of the special display areas in Halls 6 and 9. He has put his experience to work, teaming up with designers and top-end manufacturers to achieve a fresh, unorthodox approach on how to display floor coverings to best effect.
Flooring Deluxe - a keynote at DOMOTEX 2013 – will place the spotlight on premiumquality textile floor coverings, parquet and laminates that are distinguished by exceptional design, high quality and originality. The Concept Rooms are central to the Flooring Deluxe concept and provide an ideal showcase for exclusive products.
Originally debuting at DOMOTEX 2012, the Wood Flooring Summit for the parquet and laminate flooring segment is scheduled to return at the next DOMOTEX. "We are already in close communication with the relevant industry associations and market players to ensure we can build on the success achieved by the inaugural event." stated Dr. Jochen Köckler, Member of the Deutsche Messe AG Managing Board.
